How to care for Variegated String of Heart

Sun/Temperature: Providing it with 4 to 6 hours of bright indirect sunlight per day is ideal. Place Variegated String of Heart by a bright window, either shaded by sheer curtains or using grow lights to ensure the plant gets the light it needs. If the markings on the leaves begin to fade or the plant becomes more green, this may be a sign of low light. Increasing the amount of indirect light the plant receives will help restore the color on the leaves. It grows at 65-80° F. Although Variegated String of Heart is adaptable to varying temperature conditions, prolonged or sudden exposure to extreme temperatures may be detrimental to health. Therefore, plants should be placed away from windows during the hot summer months, and insulation and warmth should be provided during the cold winter months.

Soil/Fertilizer: Choosing a well-drained, well-aerated soil will keep Variegated String of Heart's roots healthy and the plant will grow healthily.
